IDA National Infocomm Competition 2010 Challenges

The IDA National Infocomm Competition (NIC) is a year-long infocomm competition held annually that allows students to hone their skills and showcase their talent in infocomm. The competition is divided into three circuits: Secondary School, Junior College and Polytechnic/Institute of Technical Education. Teams accumulate as many points as possible from each challenge to become circuit champions and win fabulous prizes like a fully sponsored trip to Silicon Valley USA.

How is the competition organised?
There are three different circuits, namely Secondary School, Junior College and Polytechnic/Institute of Technical Education.
Schools form teams and compete in the various challenges in their circuits.
There will be points awarded to the top winners in each challenge.
For each circuit, the school with the highest accumulated points will be the circuit champion.
Should there be a tie, the school with the highest number of top prizes will emerge the winner.

What are the prizes?
Win a coveted, knowledge acquisition trip and many other attractive prizes such as Playstation 3, XBOX 360s, iPods, mobile phones and digital cameras!
